THe Challenge

Julia required a website that truly represented her personality and current stage in her journey as a performer and writer. While she had the bones of a portfolio, it failed to capture her essence as a creative individual. It also NEEDED TO showcase her new solo show, which was in the midst of fundraising for her trip to Edinburgh Fringe, the world’s largest arts festival. She needed a site that would both inform and engage visitors while DISPLAYING her unique style.

THE CURE

TO CAPTURE HER vibe, I PUT TOGETHER A COLOR PALETTE AND FONT COMBO THAT MATCHED HER style AND webSITE INSPIRATION. I ADDED whimsy TOUCHES LIKE CHERRIES IN THE scrolling BANNERS AND FAVICON. Julia RECEIVED some UPDATED headshots, which added extra CHARM to her home and About Me pages, creating an aesthetically pleasing and engaging atmosphere.

FOR HER PROJECTS, I HIGHLIGHTED HER WRITING, PERFORMANCEs, AND PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHY TO SHOWCASE HER RANGE OF CREATIVITY. I built a new page FOR her solo show, Roomies, which outlines the show and shares her upcoming schedule, ALONG WITH links to tickets and her fundraiser. this page features photo galleries from rehearsals and past workshops, providing viewers with a-behind-the-scenes glimpse. now, anyone who visiting her site can quickly get a snapshot of who she is, what she’s up to, and how to reach out.
